Attract men to your “band of brothers” by holding “create” events. These are activities such as softball games, bowling, car shows, a game dinner, a movie night, go-karting, etc.
Capture-events build on the interest generated by create events. These are workshops, seminars or conferences that address the challenges men face from a Biblical perspective.
Sustaining activities are discipling ministries including men’s small groups or one-to-one mentoring. Men grow spiritually in a safe, friendly environment where they can deal honestly with the issues they face.
The purpose of this website is to provide churches, men’s leaders, and men with ideas on discipling men and personal discipleship. This collection of articles and links from experts in the field, is organized along the very successful No Man Left Behind model. My intent is to stimulate thinking, not a cast-in-iron solution. Each church is different. The framework works. It is up to each church to put the flesh on the bones. My desire is to see churches develop healthy ministries to men that move men from the bleachers onto the playing field: from the community and pew into discipleship and disciple-making.
